What guiding principles has God made an integral part of United In Christ Church?

We have five core values we believe describe who we are, who God wants us to be, and what kind of environment He wants to create at U.I.C.C.

 

God is alive. He is working out His purposes in our time. We seek to know

His heart and to create an environment where He is free to do His work,

and where people can see and experience God, and where people are

encouraged to respond to Him in faith and obedience. Psalms 42:1-2

By cooperating with His work in our lives and responding to the guidance

of His Spirit, we reveal Him to others in creative, meaningful ways.

God created His followers to be in real, authentic relationships with other.

He wants us to learn how to love one another and to help each other live

out our relationship with Him. We are to be a holy people, set apart for

the work of ministry. Ephesians 5:2 , 1 Peter 1:15

God loves people more than anything and wants them to have a living

relationship with Him. We can help by not just walking the walk, but

also by sharing our own stories as we come along side others in their

journey toward Christ and point them to the One who can make us

whole.  Luke 19:10 , 2 Corinthians 3:2-3a

God is building His Kingdom through His People. We can participate

in the advancement of His Kingdom by functioning as a team working

in harmony with Christ and the gifts He has given us.
